-If you are okay with showing your vaccination card, please do. When clients are vaccinated it makes it safe to unmask in the studio. If you are not vaccinated we will happily wear a mask with you for your safety.
-If you are still more comfortable with wearing a mask in the studio, please let us know and we will too. All teachers at Forte Pilates are vaccinated.
-Online lessons and classes are here to stay. If you need to join online for any reason, let us know and we will shoot over a Zoom link.
Private lessons are the starting point for all clients new to Pilates or new to Forte Pilates. They are personalized 1-on-1 lessons with an instructor to teach you your exercises, to safely use the Pilates equipment, re-set the equipment, and be comfortable utilizing the entire studio. A new client develops a solid foundation to work with confidence whether participating in a private lesson or any other offering. A seasoned client uses private lessons to utilize that time to learn new exercises, brush up on technique, or work on specific needs and questions. These lessons are crucial in preparing to share an hour with other clients in semis or classes and work with confidence. We also have a 1/2-hour budget friendly option. Good goals to pursue in private lessons are to be able to participate in other offerings:
-Know the names of exercises.
-Know the order of your exercises on the Reformer and Mat.
-Know how to safely set up and use the equipment.

Semi-private lessons are shared hours of 2-6 clients per instructor while Duets are reserved to just 2 clients per instructor (ex. Spouses or 2 friends who want the hour limited to the 2 of them. We reserve the right in Semis to book other clients into the hour). Private lessons are required to progress into semi-private lessons. You must be able to do your personal workout independently to ensure safety and efficacy in semi-privates. This enables each client to continue working as the instructor helps other participants in the lesson. They are lessons you progress into vs jump into.

Forte Pilates Class is the physical result of our mission: each person learns Pilates for their own needs. They are classes to practice what you learn, embrace doing your own workout, and enjoy the corrective benefits of doing a Pilates workout that suits your needs. They are independent workouts under the guidance of an instructor who is available to help and challenge each client with as needed. The class promotes independence, confidence, and a dedication to yourself.
